Special Events and Holidays
The South Caribbean Music Festival was first held in 1999,
from the beginning of February to the end of March, with different
performers appearing on every weekend evening and featuring music
ranging from Caribbean and folk to classical
and jazz.
The festival brought foreign and local performers together in an
intimate setting near the beach and was a great success.
August 31st - celebration of the Afro-Caribbean culture.
October 12th - Limon Carnival
